You don't know...
Just thought I'd mention that probably my second album will be entitled...
'You don't know...but you think you know'
Thank you. That is all.

Lenny Kravitz - It Is Time for a Love Revolution
Having had a chance to listen to Lenny Kravitz's new album, "It Is Time For a Love Revolution", I felt as if I were listening to the Lenny I've always known. This isn't necessarily a bad thing...no, more so, it's a indifferent thing. I wasn't unimpressed, but more importantly, I wasn't impressed. His sound was awesome back in the 90's, and from time to time I still crank up the “Let love rule” and similar tracks, but I can tell you that this won't be one of the albums I pull of the shelf, dust off, and listen to from beginning to end while friends are over. It offers nothing that the rest of his albums haven't already offered...at least artistically. With all that negativity said, it's not a “bad album” and if I had not already experienced Lenny back in his prime, I might be inclined to listen to this one more often. In short if you're a die hard Lenny fan, you gotta buy it, but if you're like me and are constantly expecting artists that you've come to love, to have their sound evolve (ever so slightly even) as the times evolve, then you'll be somewhat disappointed.

Disney World
This was the first time that I had been to Disney World since I was in 6th grade, and was very happy (and feel quite fortunate) that my son was able to experience this during his 6th grade year. All I should say to the would-be Disney Go'er's out there is don't do the 3 day pass and then go 3 days in a row. It was way to much to take in during such a short period. I'd recommend getting the 3 day pass, sure, but going a day, taking a day off, going a day, taking a day off, and so forth. We were worn out by the 3rd day, and even though we still found wonders that made our jaw drop, we were visibly dragging. :-] I'm sure a lot of it had to do with the ground that we covered, but the lines...lordy lordy...the lines, they were long. And people seem to just get crabby (me included) when they are forced to wait. I'm glad we went at the end of March, because I couldn't not imagine waiting in some of those lines in the dead heat.
I will attempt to go through the pictures on Flickr and actually label the rides (or other appropriate titles) on each of them, but to be honest, I took a ton of pictures, and if I can't get process through these pictures shortly, I believe I'm gonna start forgetting what's what.
So anyways...He had a blast...I had a blast...IT was a blast. In short, it was a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
